Spring Exploration
We are fortunate to have so many hours in CLIP and thus the opportunity to learn from the many rich cultural institutions in the area.
Here is the schedule so far:
May 11th - Whitney Museum
May 18th - Washington D.C. or a local field trip (more information will be coming soon.)
May 25th - Ellis Island Museum
June 1st - American Museum of Natural History (the Darwin exhibit)
Date: TBA - a walking tour of Jackson Heights, Queens.

Hi teachers. I never thought that in my CLIP class I would go to many cultural institutions, and this is great, because I only have a few months in this country and I went in tow museums and in May 18 I'm going to Washington and after that, I hope to go to all the institutions that you had mention.! take care, and even the differents that sometimes I have with somethings in the class, you are a great teacher, and I never knew that in 6 months in this country I'm able to write in the way that I do.

I think is a very good idea to visit these museum because it can increase or skill. I also want to go because I dont know a lot of museum here in NY.

what is TBA? I think go to those cultural places is a rich experience and I ancious to go there. Unafortunatly I can't go to Washington D.C. but anywsy I want to get those places.
I think that it is great to go out and learn more about so many different cultural places. I really don't have too much time to go, you i don't have babysitter. I really enjoy this type of trip.
Teacher I feel glad that you make this class interesting to us. I think it is an interective class where we have the opportunity to learn outside the classroom, and to visit graet places of New York City.
HI i think its a good idea to take the class to JACKSON HEIGHTS. so they can see differences between Indian culture, Pakistani culture, and Bangladeshi culture.

Hi teacher!! I really agree in going out to cultural institutions. This a great idea because many of our classmates do not have time to explore Museums in NYC. I enjoy these activities.
